what to expect

A nurturing and deeply relaxing session to connect to the present moment to cultivate balance and harmony within our body, mind and spirit / energy field. These practices allow us to slow down, connect within and fully 'be' in the present moment. Through a combination of somatic yogic practices, which varies for each session, but includes philosophies prana yoga, tapping, stretching, rocking, breathwork, meditation, affirmations, chanting, reiki energy reset, a slow relaxing restorative yin yoga type flow and an extended yoga nidra (yogic sleep, a type of extended shivasana) with sound healing. Expect to: - reset the central nervous system - decrease stress and lower blood pressure - release stagnant energy in the body - let go and release unresolved trauma - pratice slow down techniques - completely relax - feel re-centered - practice and learn to observe thoughts - become aware of the mental narrative - practice affirmations for a mindset reset - affirm a weekly theme that gives a deeper purpose for the week ahead - be in alignment with what we want to manifest - get in touch with our higher self (inner being) - tune into our truest self - connect with and listen to our inner guidance system - create space for inspiration - practice self mastery My intention is that each session allows for complete relaxation of the body, mind and soul. For you to find inner space. To reconnect with yourself and fill your cup. Through this somatic yoga practice, we connect deeply to the present, becoming aware of how our body feels, what emotions are stored, acceptance and release. By prioritising our inner healing and finding balance, by filling our cup, we create an overflow of energy that allows us to shine our true light. This class is for everyone. It is perfect for those who have never done yoga before, those who consider themselves 'beginners', those who have years of experience, and those who are 'advanced yoginis'.
